As title states I am wondering for a way to run wires from the trunk to the engine bay. I've looked and tugged but I can't seem to figure out how to remove the rear seats, or how I would run wires behind the rear 1/4 plastic.
In my 94 hatchback, the seats folded down and unbolted, and the rear 1/4 plastic came out, exposing the speakers... |

this should go on interior.
to remove the seats. 1. lift the bottom seat. this is held by clips. once you have this done there are twoways to access the upper seat. this is held in place by 4 bolts. from the bottom which imo is way difficult. from the top. there is a piece of plastic that is held by 4 push pins. take them out carefully. you dont want to break them. then the black vynil that is dirty (in convertibles, unleess you clean it) ![]() then you can see t bars that go across the vert. there aare 4 14mm bolts. they are tight. but once you get them out you are on your way. this 2 horizontal bars are the reasons verts dont need rear strut bars. we have 2 ![]() -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years...
