toyota arnt owned by anyone, they are a family owned company, the biggest in the car buisness unlike ford etc.
thankfully they have always made their own engines... well mostly bar some of the heads in the top of range models, the 3rd gen head was modified design by yamaha and so was the 1jz GTE ford cant make engines for crap though, hence the good ones are tuned. its weird, dunno about over there but here my gt4 gets called.... "a girls supra" im like, ok mate whatever you say lol like above i dont think there are many truely good cars nowdays, they finished in the 90's -------------------- 1994 ST-205 JDM GTFour... fmic conversion finshed, project GT500 is underway

There are lot of these "projects" or even huge firms like VAG that involve many car companies.
Ford recently sold Land Rover and Jaguar to the Indian brand Tata. Ever heard of it before, but might be huge in its own terriotory. Think VAG. Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Audi. All the same, and the technology has even stepped up the ladder to VAG supercars; Bentley, Bugatti and the Lamborghini. But who the hell owns VAG? oh yes, the Porsche family. LOL  Let me get this straight..... There is a company called VAG? That's so awesome! Their logo should be a cat, and their slogan should be "Real Men Like VAG". Or like "Must Like VAG". Oh there is just so much you can say and do with VAG. That is so VAG-tastic. OMG! The VAG-tastic Voyage-r.
