Is your dist. in the stock location? It looks like yours is somehow closer to the firewall than mine and death's.

It looks like even if I rotated the coil to face forward, I will still need a longer coil wire.

Nope no difference. It's still driven by the intake cam in the stock location. I think it's just the picture. I took it with a mag light and camera phone LOL.

I thought it was the pic angle as well but your ign wires seem to be very close (>1') to your master brake cylinder (using for reference).

Do you have a better pic of that area?

I just noticed you have a rc. Is there any sort of mounting differences (ie offset closer to drivers side) between an rc and a normal genII?

No difference between RC and genII as far as mounting differences. This is the only other pic I have at the moment:

Sorry it took me so long - I ended up having to wait for my next break.
Mines:
-12.5" long
-stock
-'93 RC Motor 2nd Gen
-Has tons of extra slack

Well I connected the dist end up and it looks like it SHOULD reach the coil if I remount it to face forwards, so I guess when it warms up and I have some free time I will try and juggle them around.

My old coil wire was around 12". Can't seem to find a P/N for the 12" wire though...
