i went thru a couple centerpieces when i was installing this. i typically rest my hand on my shifter, so the bottom area worked out better for me in the long run... with the fold down faceplate, it just worked better to have the gauges on the top, due to the way that the gauge holder protrudes out. lots of dremel work there, there is a thread floating around for my install. lmk if you need it, i don't have time to link it right now.

what kind of speaker would I use to hook the alpine up to my single din alpine deck? cuz if i remember right, i used all the wires in the harness when i installed the head unit
