So I don't know what anyone has heard but in 2009, but of course only in Europe, Audi is producing the new TT which gets about 44mpg. Granted gas is like 7 dollars overseas but still! It is a diesel engine and apparently can go 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. That is not horrible. Are there any cars in America that can meet that?

40mpg, peppy, luxury car

id rock one, regardless of its straight line acceleration, im sure its a very very nice car all around.

if hybrids had better styling, i think more people would drive them. most new cars in general just look... not good. once most of them lose their new car shine, they get soo cheap looking and rattle like crazy.

On a road trip, I got up to 55 mpg in one of the new Jetta TDIs. Not american though. On a side note, the toyota prius is a pretty lame car. It is terribly slow, and once your turn on the AC (used often here in texas) your "efficient" car is not so efficient anymore. rolleyes.gif
