what do hks actually do 4 the 3sge, and what kindof gains can be expected??
i know there is some stuff in the parts database, but i need more info - especially on cams - i heard there is a set of HKS came 4 the 3sge - but not sure

check out their japnese site, and try to search through it (half in english) or look for the european site, they must have one!

I didn't find any cams for the 3S-GE from HKS when I was looking all day at work the other day. What's in the database is pretty much all that I found from HKS.

Here's a pic of the HKS header on a 3SGE SSIII that was for auction in Japan a few months ago.
Sorry I can't provide any more information than is already in the parts database, just thought a close up picture of them installed might be helpful in some way   As for cams, HKS do make them for the 3SGTE, but I've found no sites that specifically mention the 3SGE and unfortunately I don't know enough about the differences of the 3SGTE (apart from the turbo system) to be able to say whether they'd work or not - there are some pretty switched on 6gc members that may be able to help though. I believe HKS has cams for the 3sgte which will fit the 3sge. I'm not sure how high the lift or duration is.

Because you know, oil filter theft is such a big problem.  Anyway, I think that header looks so sweet! I bet it's possible to get the oil filter off without removing the header though. It doesn't seem like they'd produce it so that you'd have to do that to change your oil. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Go to NOPI and look up parts for a sw20 MR-2 turbo. They should have parts listed.
