Hey guys isnt a TC like a lightweight flywheel for a manual. Basically putting more HP on the road?

torque converter its what makes auto tranny's possible. auto tranny's tend to be less efficient because the tranny gears are not actually attached to the engine, like the clutch in a 5spd tranny. instead it works off of fluid. a performance TC is made to be more efficient in putting the power into the tranny, which helps put more to the wheels and give a quicker response, similar to a flywheel and clucth upgrade on a 5spd car. -------------------- 1994 Celica GT4 WRC Edition
