Anyone here have a set of Megan Racing lowering springs? I'm looking at getting a new set, and I know Megan makes good products, I just don't know about their springs. Comments/critiques would be appreciated.

Yes I did, but to make a long story short, let's just say that I need new ones. frown.gif

MEGAN RACING SPRINGS...are great. I just got them i my car and they are smooth. Drop is 1.6 all around, eventho they said 2.0 in front and 1.75 in back.

Goodluck. I have a distrubutor if you want some info.

How stiff are they? Do they ride bouncy, or smooth?

One turned out to be faulty. Won't hold any pressure of any kind. This is the first time I've seen anything like this with a spring, very unusual.

What if it was a sprint spring knock off? IIRC you bought them for dirt cheap.

btw if you plan on just staying springs I recommend this to everyone on any car. Tein s techs. You can't go wrong period. Its worth to spend the extra bucks than getting the megan springs.

Could've been, but the seller on here advertised them as Sprint springs. I'll PM him and see if I can get a refund.

Don't bother. Maybe they were spring springs, and think about it. Spring springs are wayyy cheap compared to tein springs. I got them on my car and I wished I would have spent the extra money for teins. I've installed teins on an is300, 06 accord coupe, my buddies 95 celi. Comparing the way teins ride to mine, is like night and day. Teins are soo comfy.

That may be the case, but are the Teins stiff?

I want a stiff set of springs.

megan racing will be coming with fully adjustable coilovers in July. you can adjust the height and stiffness. why not just go for those?

To be honest unless you want the slammed look or race auto x its not worth it to get coilovers.

I think I'm going to try these out with some GR2's. If I do, I'll post a full review.
