It kinda sounds like u need to find a car with a blown motor in it and use the shell and swap the 3s into that...Can u still drive the celica you have now bc its not that bad of an idea of having a dd for a lil while... at least for during the 3s build and a lil after its build is finished while u work out all the bugs. Welding that clip is not a good idea at all imo.

its what we did before, but this time its just a little bit worse, like we put a new core support on, and the big thick bar at the bottom. car is still driveable, just bent to **** up front, motor mounts are all ok, everything is alright, just bent like i said. i have a daily driver, but its a gas hog
