 trip counter not working |

yeah im trying to use my trip counter as of recently top help with how much gas im useing >_< stupid cali grr. but it wont reset and ifit doe it only spins the numbers 1/4 turn and really messes with the count. does any one know how to fix this? its kinda irratateing[size="3"][/size]
*srry with the color and size changes im playing with the settings*

Sounds like a gear is stripped out in the cluster.
