Hi all, I joined 6gc.net just recently as I have purchased a 94 GT in Feb of this year.
My problem is this. I unplugged the battery connectors to work on the steel brake lines which snapped on the highway. I was able to buy OEM for $112 at the dealer, but it may have been better to buy the $5.99 ones and use unions as the so-called OEM pre-bent ones were a mess when I got them. Anyway, when I put the brake lines and charged up my battery, the OEM radio displays "SEC" and when I spoke with a dealer to resolve the problem, they didn't tell me how to fix but they offered to fix it for $50. Now, when dealers give you a price like that, it must be an easy fix! It would have been easy to resolve if the previous owner told me the code...well would have helped if he didn't sell me a lemon either....this car has so many problems, but I love it.... So, can anyone help me out? I am comfortable with fixing things, so I just need to know once I take the radio panels off and pull out the radio itself. It must have something to do with the backside right? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks This post has been edited by Betta-J: Jun 1, 2008 - 5:52 PM |
