where did you source the motor from?
i've looked for this motor but no luck. i do realize it won't be much more for a 3sgte but still. i wouldn't mind it's little brother the 3sge.

Awesome! How you finding it with our engine? You have to rev it high, but when you do it just sings biggrin.gif

Don't worry too much about spares, there are plenty of us on here from the UK who can hook you up, or there's always loads on ebay.co.uk

Good to see this swap, it's a great engine, superbly reliable, with some nice power without using tons of gas.

If you wanted, you can get some nice gains from the Superchips ICON piggyback ECU, i have it and it goes well smile.gif

i'll keep an eye out for the downpipe, there are a few breaking on ebay you could try:
EBAY.CO.UK

The Chip is fairly expensive new ($400) but they come up used now and again for $200 or less:

Looks like a very clean swap. Glad you are happy with it. I've always wondered how that swap would go in our ST's. Did the swap go pretty well?

So did you get your bpipe? Open header isn't all that much fun.

Wiring this was pretty straight forward. The electrical is based off of a cut gen3 engine harness and the stock ST engine harness.

I think this is about the best NA option for the Celica short of the beams. You can find these motors for about the same price as a 4age 20v, and they make more torque and more HP. All you need are some key parts from the GT.

I was going to mention, I have access to a gen3 here locally in Atlanta. Probably $800-$900 or so with transmission. Very clean.
