 Gearbox gone :( |

My gearbox went today. The diff bearing has fallen out apparently. I was able to limp home and then on to the garage in the next town, but the car is going to be off the road for the best part of a week while the gearbox is removed and sent away for a refurbish. I hate to think how much it is going to cost.

Finally got my Celica back today - it has been at the garage for two weeks. Cost was over £800 (~$1600)
 . They replaced the clutch again (only done 30k) and refurbished the gearbox. They were shocked when I explained that the clutch had only done 30k miles (the first one did 100k before it went). It appears that the Toyota dealership had fitted a refurbished clutch last time but charged me for a new one. Not impressed.-------------------- Davey
