i love that you say "hit the petrol" and cell-eeeeeka...wow language barriers are so cool
i dont mean disrespect or saying im right i just think its interesting lol of course my stepdad says ul intstead of oye-ul for oil
are petrol and oil the same thing when your talking about oil for your car (not cooking oil)

No. Petrol is petrol as in petroleum. Oil is oil as in oil.

and nobody has ever said "hit the petrol" that's crazy. We tend to call it the accelerator, rather than gas pedal.
