Is that what it was? Lisa thought it might be the new 225-45r17 Perelli's I put on the rear cause I had just swapped them from front to back the night before and that was the first time I heard that noise. Yeah - freaked me at first.
the rear suspension bushings, end link bushings etc are now toast from that run. Constant creaks and groans from back there now. I went to buy some Energy Suspension Techniques or w/e that brand is with the red poly bushings you can get at O'Reilley but they didn't have our application listed. Anybody done this recently and know the P/N's? I can get the full set of everything for $100 so I'm all over that as soon as I can get the right P/N's.

i went to www.energysuspension.com & couldn't find anything listed for a ST20x -- sometimes they don't have all their stuff listed on the website so you might want to try and call & talk to them to get more info etc.

i know there are SuperPro poly bushings (they are blue) for ST185's ... i don't know, but i would think they would have an application for a ST20x Celica's as well.
you can try www.185performance.com to see if the energy suspension thing falls thru.

p.s. Death, you got any more vids? biggrin.gif

Thank you very much and yes I have more videos but as I stated above they are too big for Photobucket's 100mb limit kindasad.gif If you can host them I will post them [of course how would I get them to you since yahoo has a 3mb limit - I could find a way around that if someone could host it - I'll just use the company e-mail]

If you can host them I will post them

If you can Disk it; then i can... biscuit? confused.gif............... laugh.gif

For real though; I've got MAD space. how much are we talkin about here? like 1-2 GB? i can spare maybe one more GB if needed, but that's a sh!t load of space thumbsup.gif and i'll just break you off with the link so that you can do what you must with it. Post it, upload it, download it, Side-to-Side load it... W/E biggrin.gif

I gotta come over soon anyway... Disk that mo'fo. I even got CD's to make the process easier. (can you burn onto DVD cd's? Not DVD format, but you've got atleast a 52X burner; Yeah? those hold WAY more space than reg.) BTW, you can burn me another CD that i want while i'm there tongue.gif

Dude that was badass. Makes me wish I'd hammed it up a bit and buzzed you a few times, maybe a BOV right next to your window - that's what I get for behaving myself for once laugh.gif
Anybody get footage of Vadar and Elise on that one closed road? I know we didn't kindasad.gif Would have been nice to see from outside the car. From inside it looked like it took a looong time for Vadar to pull away but it might have been worse for all I know laugh.gif Should have dropped to 3rd like my racr mind was telling me to. That little GT4 is killer and beautiful to boot.
Snap your car is clean as ever - such a sleeper. I look forward to the day we line them up at the track. I honestly don't know how that's gonna go [That's the best way IMO - no expectations just determination tongue.gif ]

Thanks. I pride myself on the clean/sleeper look. And yes, a track meet is a must at some point.

the heat was really killing Vadar .. between overheating + heatsoak it really robbed the hp & the ecu was pulling timing on occasion. frown.gif

It's supposed to be "dramatic" and a little over-the-top.

Honestly.... It was cool, but would have been better if you had some electronic or rock or something more up tempo in the middle section. Not every shot being like the second coming of christ.

Hey I gave you your props - definetely pulled me. I just expected to be blown away and trust me when I say you weren't the only one who's 3S was suffering from south Texas heat and all day abuse. I was afraid to drop it to 3rd [Seems to be a common problem for me that I need to get over laugh.gif ]. Hopefully some day this fall we can hit the track a day after you get her [Him?!?] here and can have access to my garage so you can refresh him/her a bit. I'd like to see how we do all things being equal and optimal.

Right on - there were some seriously nice cars there that day and not all of them were just the swapped/turbo cars either.

Well then you'd hate the music I'd play over it then laugh.gif - This worked well for a wider audience IMO

I hear you. I would argue though that orchestral/vocal music covers a larger range of viewers since its not as specific. That was the goal, and i did it in just a couple of hours from start to finish (which is pretty quick considering the footage, editing & hosting). Thanks for the suggestion though. smile.gif

Btw guys, i don't know why the music skips at the end when vadars car comes on, its not doing that in my editing program - something weird with the upload i guess, or maybe the st185 intimidated the music. laugh.gif
