 AC makes me overheat?, Tried search with no luck |

So i went on a small road trip today and thought i would finally use my AC. cranked it on and like 5 minutes later i notice that im about to severly overheat. I turned it off and switched to heat to help cool it off. worked fine. then after that i notice when I keep my RPMs high i start to over heat as well- heat goes back on. any idea what might be causing this? I thought it might be the thermostat sticking closed or something... really weird that the AC would cause it too tho
