At least you got it out of your system, LOL. Those cars pull pretty hard even in stock form, man. They actually feel rawer than the X. I rode in a stock blue X and it felt a bit disappointing in terms of overall pull. It's cushier, heavier and has a different tranny, so you don't feel that strong umph that you feel on an IX. It's more linear. I have to do a shoot of another blue X, but that one already touched the 10s. It's a given that I will get to taste its power and change my opinion on it being "slower". tongue.gif

where do u ppl come up with this lol...i think that if the guy trusted him to park his 25k$ car in ur garage he must trust u,and to leave the keys with u he really must trust u..but he did say if u want to move it in and out of the garage..and u did move it in and out. This is wat id say:

"well i had to move ur car out of the garage and i could have sworn i heard something so i wanted to help u out and take it to the garage and fix it for u, but when i got to the garage it was closed so i jsut brought it home and didnt want to touch ur baby any more..sorry"

because that'd be a dirty lie.

If that's the case, atleast just limit the amount of truth that you give him. "yeah, i pulled it out of the garage, and after i did some stuff i put it back" wink.gif

I'd say fcuket, and tell him later when he comes to pick up his car. Big deal, you took it for a spin around the block. Nobody got hurt, nothing got wrecked, everything is fine. Just tell him when he gets back or something. It's not a big deal. rolleyes.gif

its not like i hurt anyone or anything. you guys are acting like im some sort of criminal. so i put like less then 3 miles on his evo. whoopeee....

now, if i had taken it downtown and went clubbing and cruising and came back like 4 hours later then yeah i can see how thats pretty messed up.

its not like i do this often. the only time i'll ever have an evo in my garage ever again in my life is if i buy one. and at least it wasnt his 08 m3....

On a forum where cars are treated as family members, you broke a major rule. You have no idea what could have happened in those 3 miles. Imagine it got away from you or someone else crashed into you, how do you explain that?

not gonna lie, if my friend had a evo and left it in my garage, i would have done the same thing! but i would tell him i did it, wash the car, and top it off on premium!
I'm not gonna hide it or anything, just come straight out and tell him i did it and that his car is amazing and talk him up and hope he forgives me!
and to give you a clue on how i drive, the local dealer doesnt let me test drive WRX STI's anymore... frown.gif

so just tell him you did it and that you love his car and you think its amazing. if he's a good friend he'll understand.
