I just got some new tires put onto my new wheels, Sumitomo HTR Z III's that are 225/45/17. I washed the car when I got home, cleaned the tires/wheels up really nice and cleaned the car really good, and I was in love with my car again. However, a little car called the Mustang GT had to deminish all the pride I had left.
On the way home from the mall with my friends, a new generation Mustang GT with wheels, lowering, and exhaust came up to me and downshifting, just blasting by. Not a mile up the highway, he slows down again, waiting for me to get beside him. Me, being the idiot I am, downshift just for laughs, and do the classic three honks. Can you guess what happened? Yep, me flew away like I was standing still. I am seriously embarrassed by my cars lack of power.  Power = Celicas achilles heal (N/A ones, anyway). |
