Well summer is over and winter will be here soon and i will need to get a second car that has AWD as my commute to work now has several very steep hills, very steep. Over here in vancouver/portlan we dont get a whole bunch of snow, but we get alot of ice and when the hills ice over i dont really want to go try and drive my celi up them:/ and now that my leg is healed enough i will be able to go snowboarding again this year so i will be making trips up to the mountain, and i most definately do not want to do that in my celi.

So i have been FINALLY decide to buy a second car that has AWD and that i like enough that i can put some money into it and make faster:)

I figure my celica will be my "show" car and my second car will be my "go" car wink.gif

Honestly i'd love to dump 20k into a celi and make it AWD V6 but, realistically that doesnt make any sense, so i figure i'll add some more money into it(lower it, paint it, rims, tint) but thats it, not really any preformance.

SO with all that said, i am looking to spend around 5k on something with AWD that has potential for more power. I like the Subaru Legacy, looking at 98 GT soon:), but i would be up for some other cars as well. Obviously Subaru has AWD standard so i am kinda looking at them the most, but i figured i'd see what the community has to say about this.

Basically i am looking for an older AWD car, 4 door preferrably, 2 doors is ok as long as it is a hatch back, must be an attractive car(no wagons). So please list any expierence you have and any suggestions:) looking around 5-6k

thanks alot you guys
