Hi guys, firstly id like to say hi to everyone. its my first post!
I picked up a celica Thursday and Im still very new to this car, i didnt get any manual so il prob be asking a few Qs at first.

My first is a pic which is the car from above with what appears to be blinking lights at the rear. its a fixed orange light that wont go away.

i reckon its fogs, these turn on/off and im sure its not standard this switch. its an SSII

any help how to remove it appreciated!

If this is the light I am thinking of (based on a Camry that had it), it means you have a bulb out in the rear, either a brake light or a tail light. Does the light look like the image of a car with lines behind it that could either look like it's driving really fast or that the back is shining? If yes, check your rear bulbs (tail lights and brake lights).

Yea sounds like that. if your lights are fine there could be a wiring issue. apparently quite common. the flatmates camry that light comes on but all his lights are fine.

could just pull the bulb.

I just bought my second SS2 95. When i start the engine everythings fine until i press the brake pedal. then the light for the "blown bulb" comes on and stays on.

Does anyone know about this?
its starting to get very annoying.

Could be a dodgy earth wire or something, but its strange that it only comes on after i depress the pedal and stays on....

Have you checked that your brake lights are working?

yes brake lights are working, all lights work fine. I know renaults have a similar problem. its due to dodgy earth connections.

i really cant find the problem though....
