Nothing was really wrong with the pin, there was just that really old rubber cushion[which was rather deteriorated btw] which was smoooshed up on the pin. I recently had all the parts off and cleaned cause my ebrake components were all wack due to prior owners horrible adjustment.
Anyway since it was a clunk in the rear I felt it was somewhat relevant and worth posting, and different from the clunking while braking. Hope all goes well with your tranny and clunkity-thumping. -------------------- ◊◊◊ My F/S Thread! ◊◊◊

There was so much JDM trapped inside that box that they couldn't contain it, so they had to put a JDM hole in the box to let the JDM out. Tranny will be finished tomorrow night, and clunkity-thumping, well, still trying to find someone who can help me install my damn rear struts and my springs! Ugh.

If someone could measure the rear sway bar next time they're down there I would appreciate it.

Alright, I measured the rear sway bar with a dial caliper and it's 16mm.
http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/Unive...ar-Bushings.asp I believe we have non-greaseable bushings, so it should be these: http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/prodd...asp?prod=9.5120 If someone could confirm dimensions of the brackets that would be awesome. These would be cheaper than OEM and would be better. |

Not a sixth-gen owner, but if your bushings are set up like a fifth-gens, the brackets will be asymmetrical unlike the generic ones. However, I'd be greatly surprised if you could not get replacement Toyota bushings for less than those aftermarket ones -- heck, mine were less expensive than that, and I'm paying the Canadian markup.

Oh ok. After looking at my brackets though, they look exactly like the ones on the website. I didn't realize that the bushings were less than $15, but I might as well spend a few bucks more and have something better. The question is whether or not they'll work.
