Do you already have factory power door locks? If so, you can probably find a Crimestopper CS-845RKE keyless entry system on eBay for about $45 shipped. I didn't have factory power door locks, so I bought a couple actuators, that keyless entry system, and a siren(so I could have the chirp chirp sound tongue.gif), and my total came out to about $60-70, including shipping. smile.gif

I installed it myself and it worked great. The unit has some nice features for the price, and has auxilary outputs.

Also, I can help you out installing it. Just search for some answers, and if you don't find what you need, write up a new post. I've posted a lot regarding this before, and I think maybe soon I'll write up a sticky on alarm installations. wink.gif

I'm kind of confused by what you're asking? A button above the door handle or something? Could you please clarify?

keyless entry...
is it when you have a button that sends a signal to the car to unlock(from your keychain, and up to 15ft away-ish)

or is it the doors that have a keypad (1-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8) on the door to open it?

Same here. My keyless entry unit is the type with the remote where it sends a signal to the unit's brain to unlock the car doors. wink.gif

Hi Coomer.

Will the Crimestopper CS-865RKE do. There's several on ebay for around $43 with shipping. Here's the Keyless entry system

If the install is not too awfully complicated, I may want to give it a try also. Since my car does not have the power locks either, I'll need some actuators too. Do you think these will do or do I need a specifc type for the Celica.

Thanks for your help.

The keyless entry unit looks like it's very similar to my old unit that I used to have. I'd imagine that it'd be a nice basic keyless entry system.

And those actuators look exactly like the ones I have as well. They'll work fine for your Celica. smile.gif
