Finished working on it at bout 9.30 tonight, been at it all day trying to buy a silicone reducer (ripco wants $60, superexpensive wants $35, finally found it at BNT performance for $12 as it should be) that and sanding down a 3 inch joiner for the pod filter because the nutter at ripco sold me 3 inch clamps that were borderline 76mm and were a tight squeeze to get on. Also reshaped, cut, plastic welded & sanded the intake resonator to remove the resonance chambers and fit the air temperature sensor from the old airbox. Motor sounds alot better, will take pics during the day, This is just a temporary measure till we get a 3" aluminum ram pipe.

I've almost finished building my own CAI so I've gifted my SRI aluminum pipe to Nat, The sound of her motor instantly brought back memories of my old SS-I frown.gif Sorry for the lack of pictures at the moment, we'll get to that one.. This SRI pipe is a bit of a whore btw, It came from a half cut of a honda intake, and went into my friends Mirage Mivec 1.6 and then into my 95 SS-I and then into my 96 SS-III and now into Nat's 97 SS-I, Still sounds brutal as ever.

We also made her gauge cluster lights hot pink by using White LED T10 and T5 wedge bulbs and pink water baloons, They look good, again, photos soon.

I still have a few Go-Fast tricks for you yet smile.gif
