I've noticed that the 5S-FE doesnt make use of Rocker Arms like some more modern designs do? does the use of Bucket Tappets have its advantages over Rocker Arms beside Reciprocating mass? Most Modern High-RPM engines like the 2ZZ-GE i've noticed have Rocker arms and use Roller Rocker Followers but thats in conjunction with the VVTL-i isnt it?
And just So Im right the Silver Cylinders under the Cam Lobes are the Bucket tappets right?
