would this be a cheaper route to go for a gt4 ........ a tranny and rear end from a 5th gen gt4 and weild the hookups........???

no it wont work


you have to get a WHOLE ST205 and swap in everything..like the floor, rear frame, sub frame (which i recently found out is aluminum which is a b*tch to weld) trunk frame, trunk pan, gas tank, etc.

in other words..time, money, and patience is what it will take. 5th gen parts will not work on a 6th gen. someone on this site says he did it with a zawsaw by cutting a spot in the back for the rear pumpkin but he later says that he took all that out because of alignment issues.

the only way to do it and make your car straight and sturdy is to do what i am doing. and thats what i listed above.
