Ok, so I can slide it back and til it up with the motor. Now I am curious if anyone has had this problem, so here it goes.
It was fine last night, when I drive, I usually have it tilted up. Today, the button to tilt it up isn't doing anything. I push the button to slide it and it does nothing. I push the button to retract it as if I did slide it back and it tilts it up. I push to slide it back and it sets it back, but too low. So I push the button to tilt it and it sets it back in the right spot. That is the only working order it goes. If I hold the button past it tilting it to maximum, I get this buzzing noise like it wants to keep going but is stuck. If I close it and hold the button, it makes that same noise. So I am wondering if I need a new motor, or if there is a problem in the wires for the switches. I took it apart, and I would think it is the wires in the switches, because the motor does operate, just getting the wrong signals. What do you think? Can you help? Suggestions on what the problem might be or what I need to replace? -------------------- 91 MR2 Turbo SW20, 92 MR2 Turbo SW20, 95 Celica GT ST204
