Can you do much with a MR-S? I used to want to get one, until I discovered not many people are fans of them. Personally, I kind of would rather have a 93-95 MR2 Turbo (and I said those years for a reason), which I might be getting between Dec & Jan.

Well I am interested in hearing you out, so I sure hope someone speaks up who has one. biggrin.gif

I read somewhere that the MR-S could handle better than the previous gen MR2 cause it has a lower center of gravity BUT it lacks alot of power. rolleyes.gif Toyota is apparently notorious for this... lol.

I used to own the mr2 spyder. I loved every bit of it until I wrecked it. Power has nothing to do with those cars, its a fun car to drive regardless of how fast it can go.

well i need a spyder, here is what i know. Altough it needs to be confirmed. Since nobody PM'ed me here.

2 websites i have checked states that the TRD Strut bar is compatible with

Carina Corona Caldina
ST165 185 205 Celica
MR-S ZZW30

now, that means that the strut towers may be the same distance and same hole pattern. There are plenty of strut bars out there for the spyder. so im tempted to buy one.

No way - even those year Celicas aren't interchangeable - trust me I've tried kindasad.gif

One of my really good friends has an MR2 Spyder. If you want to be double sure, I can take some measurements next time I see him.
