Toyota is the "new giant" in the auto industry. However GM still sells alot more car in the USA than Toyota does. Total vehicle sold USA, november 2008. Chrysler LLC 85,260 Ford 123,222 General Motors: 154,877 Toyota Mo Co: 130,307 source From that graph, people are certainly not buying more toyotas as we might think. How is GM such in deep ****? Its not because people dont buy them, its because of company management and the UAW's woes. Chrysler? They just have a very crappy product line. And as of right now, FORD is the only company that don't desperatly needs money.
