ok is this the easiest way in to get this git off, i had to stop today as the sun was nearly down and it was freezing, hopefully get it off tomorrow. As you can see i took the wheel off and where the red arrow is i had to grease up my arm and go in through that gap. I could get my hand on it and maybe if i had some 90degree pliers i would have had the plug off. My elbow was up against the cross member i think it is my grip with my fingers just wasnt strong enough and i could hardly get my arm in anymore. I have my doubts of of whether i can get a spanner on it hopefully a 24mm deep socket will do, it is 24mm isn't it? cause i have heard it is 23mm too. I hope this is help for anyone else trying to get the knock sensor out cause it is a pain and there is limited amount of pictures on how to get to it. Any advice is welcome
