well, i decided to do custom cat-back but dont know what diameter to do. would 2.5 make me lose my backpressure. im going to use 40 series flowmaster and take resonator off. any suggestions on what diameter i should use? i also gotta take into account that i am doing 4age swap within this year and need to know if 2.25 or 2.5 would be right for that

well, i ended up doing 2.5" cat-back with resonator off and flowmaster 40 series delta flow. to my surprise, it sounds awesome. very deep and never backfires. ended up costing me 60 bucks. the exhaust shop is really cheap and does excellent work

they only charged 60 bucks for the cat back?

i would double check that dude. they probably only did axle back

that seems extremely cheap for cat back exhaust. greddy is like 400+

if that was the case then people could just buy the muffler and go to a shop and have them do it.

is it crushed bent or mandrel bent?

it was crush bent, that is why it is cheap, but 60 bucks is pretty cheap anyway, crush or mandrel. and yes it is cat-back, i watched him do the job the whole time. i had to sit there for 5 hours for my car to get started because of all the poeple in there getting exhaust done, only one exhaust man but he does awesome job and cheap

good price... definitly. with a non turbo or supercharged engine crushed is fine, but otherwise you should maybe upgrade to mandrel, or theres another technique that use where they just weld together smooth bend pipe together, similar to mandrel with same results, smooth airflow.
