whats sad is that carb is about the size of carb i had on my ford falcon (62) it was a little one barrel holley

im assuming about the clutch cuz my buddy has this little kart called a thunder kart and its about the same as that except its white its a little 5hp engine.
the governator (thats what they called it when they showed me) controls the fuel flow when you press the pedal...only prob is after he did it, it ran fine for like 3 months then it would die when you took your foot off the gas, it ran like a bat out of hell for those 3 months though
: )

At least your carabarator is clean in my dad's generator the inside actually rusted out and had to be replaced. If the engine is high quality it will probably start right up. Make sure the plug(s) are good as well.

did a little bit of work. This go kart spent so much time in the rain, that its seat base is rotten. Because.....

IT WAS MADE OUT OF WOOD. who would put wood in these things. Bunch of retards. Enjoy my misery

to be done:

RHD conversion
rear discs
HID projectors
Enkei EVO-5 18s
rear duckbill spoiler
C20 turbo w/Synchronic BOV
replace headunit
2x1000W bridged mono block amps into 20" subs

OH, crap! That's the to-do list for my Celica...hahahahahahahahahaha

Seriously, very nice work. Looks like you are taking this project seriously and learning from it. Nothing like resurrecting a neglected piece of equipment.

had a setback, i forgot to take out the plastic bag from the intake and as i was torquing the torque converter, it got suctioned into the valve.... tongue.gif i had no compression at all, did not know until i popped the head appart.

now im lapping the valves and cleaning for Moar compression...

Learning experience from small engine to apply to bigger engines...

Victory. These little engines are not hard to work on. Yes i had a little trouble like a sheared key, intermittent spark, and plugged idle passages, low compression. But Here it is. A lot of cuzz words.

Restored Tecumseh Power Sports 6.0 HP in Saphire Blue Metallic and Ford Red. Needs a little tuning...

Yea duh, i have worked on the seats and other stuff, but have not taken any pics.....

I will be riding it in a week or so. Painting of the frame starts in 1 month....
