just wondering if theres a lot of moding to do on celicas. ive read a lot about engine swapping is this a necissary for high whp or will the gt engines get going too. hows the interior of them, simple, luxurious, sporty...... are they easy to work on and cheap to fix. how about do i find an awd one (im guessing its a pain in the ass) im tired of my lemon honda and looking for a bigger engine. also a big seller for me would be if you can exchange the front lights for maybe a single set instead of 4 circle ones. make it look some what like the front of newer supras

you can turbo the gt engine, which can get you to about 200hp. the interior is simple and pretty sporty, i'd say it wraps around u quite nicely. they have few to zero mods on the market, so finding aftermarket support is always a pain. fixing wise, at a mechanic, its pretty cheap, its more of an economy car than a sports car. there are.. i THINK 8 gt-4s in america, so good luck finding an awd. the bigger engine (2.2l gt 5sfe engine) is only rated at 130hp, whereas your b18b? (im assuming) cranks out 140hp, so dont expect to be going faster overall, but the GT engine IS torquier. the front headlights could be easily swapped for curren headlights (you may want to search, i think playr158 has it, not sure) otherwise, if you want supra type, i also think playr158 has done it before, but i dont think it was easy. good luck man. i'd say in terms of aftermarket parts and ease, stick with the honda. if you want a unique car that may take more mods etc, pick the celi. :3

Basically with the 6th generation Celica, your options are putting a turbo on the GT motor or doing a motor swap. If you have a sh*t ton of money sitting around, you can do a Curren conversion to the front end of the car, but it won't resemble a Supra as much. A Celica is a much more expensive car to modify than your Honda, but in the end, it's worth it because you have a car that is much more uncommon and will draw more looks. Civics have been done time and time again, whereas our Celicas, if you build it, you'll have the only one like it for miles and miles around you. It's worth it in the end, but costs more.

ditch the honda junk and rock a t badge, depending on how much money you have and what kinda connections you have you can get a gt4 thats the awd modle, they are available in canada here but i guess there is issues get them to the states, if you happen to pick un a gt model you can swap the 3s out of the gt4, a 2L power plant that is just remarkable, or if u actualy like building stuff you can build a 5s like some of us and put out a sweet hp and tq chart, as stated you can do a curren conversion, but why bother the curves on these car's is were its at, you can mix and match bumpers and lights such as c one or pre/post face lift bumpers or gt4 front end conversion

Honestly if you really do deep research, there are 3sge, 3sgte, and 4age setups for the motors, which are the best candidates. Interior wise there is also some jdm goodies, but more importantly there is a whole lot of exterior styles and jdm goodies as well.
