Hey guys, (sigh)

I will be moving in the next few weeks and my wife and I will no longer need two cars, so I am forced to sell my 1995 GT Hatch that I have come to love. I am posting this a little early to just get come buzz up, maybe get a few offers PM'd and see what it'll fetch. I will post current pictures of the car after I've washed and detailed it tomorrow.

-I am the 4th owner of the car and I bought the car at the end of 2007 with 124,500 miles on it. Since then I have been using it as my daily driver to go to work, school and so on. Since I've had it 90% of the miles put on it have been highway. As it stands now it has just crossed 175,000 miles.

Features:

Air Conditioning
Power Steering
Power Windows
Power Door Locks
Tilt Wheel
Cruise Control
AM/FM Stereo
Cassette
Single Compact Disc
Dual Front Air Bags
Alloy Wheels
Leather

It comes with the 8 speaker audio system as well as what I believe is the factory alarm system which was cut by the previous owner. (It went off, he lost his cool and cut the wire. The kill switch by the gas pedal still works though and I have been late work work on several occasions after my wife took it though the car wash and they flipped it by accident.) I did not attempt to re-wire it or even look at it since simple door locks are good enough in my neighborhood.

List of mods/replaced parts (by date):

-Weapon-R SRI (summer 2008)

-Replaced radiator (spring 2009)

-Replaced alternator (spring 2009)

-Installed E-bay header (summer 2009)

-Replaced drive belt (summer 2009)

-Replaced downpipe (summer 2009)

-Installed Hawk Ceramic brake pads (fall 2009)

-Replaced front rotors (fall 2009)

-Installed Yokohama AVID V4S Tires (4) (fall 2009)

-Installed Centerforce stage 1 Clutch/pressure plate (fall 2009)

-Replaced timing belt (winter 2009)

-Replaced starter (winter 2009)

There are only 2 or 3 flaws to the car that I know of.

1. The leather is cracked and drivers side seat it ripped. (Back seats still in great shape).
I currently have nice leather/pleather seat covers which can be seen in my profile pics over the front seats.

2. There was an impact between the front drivers side wheel well and door. The affected area is about the size of a sheet of paper w/ rust setting in over an area the size of a cell phone. All but a small chip is located on the fender. It looks like it was a sub 5 mph hit that was just let go. I was looking to replace the fender before I sold the car but I'm not sure if that'll work out or not. A new fender + paint job will run around $250 to fix it all, or you can do what I had planned and find a replacement fender from a part car off 6gc in perfect condition.

3. A smaller impact (looks like he backed into something) on the drivers side rear bumper. Affected area is about the size of a hand w/ either no rust or just setting in.

Other than that the car is in great shape. Little nicks and scratches here and there (all the good stuff that adds character). The car runs very strong and the engine pulls hard and is still roaring.

The car can be kept as-is since nearly everything that needs to be changed very recently has been changed, or can be a great swap candidate (something I was looking forward to doing in the future).

As I said I will have pictures up in a day or two after I've cleaned it up a bit (don't need to post pictures of a dirty car after the snow we've had) and after that the car will officially be for sale.

Ask if you're curious about anything and thanks for looking.

BUMP!!
Pics are below.

I will need the car up until January 26th and after that it will be sold.

Will keep this a 6gc exclusive until the 21st at which point it will be put up on various other auto sales sites.
I will consider all offers but am looking for around $2500 considering all the maintenance put into it just in the last 6 months (clutch, belts, etc..)

Thank you for looking, ask if you have any questions, and I'm sorry that I have to let 6gc go for now.

If I can only get 2000 for it you will be the first one I go to. However I have to say that that KBB value on this car in FAIR condition (meaning body damage, light rust, and maintenance issues is 2590. Just the new clutch and timing belt I put in this past fall was a $1600 job that ensured you pretty much wouldn't have to change anything on this car till it needs new brakes in a little over a year.

I'll keep you in mind but like I said I'm looking for 2500 and that's under that KBB fair condition value. If everything else falls through, you'll be the first one I notify.

Bump

I need this sold by weeks end. Will take best offer.

Will be located between Uniion County NJ and State College PA so if you're on the route and interested I can actually stop by with the car, you wouldn't have to drive out to see me if you've got cash in hand and are ready to buy.

willing to ship?

I guess, however I looked at quotes to ur area today and its in the high 600 to low 700 range.
Even if you gave me full asking I'd be reluctant to let it go for what would be $1800

Bumping it up.

Have it listed on cars.com and other various sites.
Basically the first person to walk up to me with $2300 cash takes it.
