Last night I got into an accident in my Celica. I’m not sure what exactly what happened still, but I think this is what went down. I was going around 40 mph when I went to change lanes, lost control, hit a curb with my back wheel and the hit a '91 Ford F150 in the cab on the driver's side door. Then I went backwards over the curb again into a ditch (it wasn’t very deep or steep but when I stopped my front was resting on the ground holding most of the weight of the car because 1 of my back tires wasn't even on the ground).
This accident only caused over $5000 worth of damage to the truck (it dented in the cab so bad they have to replace it) and it only broke one of my headlight clips and cracked the paint in my front bumper (not to mention I'm going to have to get my Enkei Shoguns reconditioned or something). Before this accident, I was planning on putting a full body kit on my car, however, now I'm going back with a the stock front because of how well it held up in this accident. If I had the invader kit on my car already, there would have been fiberglass all over the rood because it would have been gone when I hit the truck. So to anyone that was wondering about the durability, Toyota did a great job ![]() ![]() |
