Well I finished it a couple days ago. I used 4 gauge power wire. I had done the ground upgrades a while back and finally got around to doing this.
I got a nifty little fuse holder with a digital voltage display built in. I used a 70 amp fuse. Here you can see that the only spots you can see the wire is where it connects to the battery and alternator.. ![]() Here you can see how I routed it under my intake and master cylinder.. ![]() Here is the fuse I got. I need to figure out how i want to hook it up, as you can see I am holding a ground to it, but I dont want it to stay on all the time. BTW, dont mind the sock, i use it to quiet my alarm down. ![]() ![]() Here you can barely see the wire routed behind the intake manifold.. ![]() Here it is routed next to the timing belt cover.. ![]() And lastly, here it is hooked up to the alternator. I crimped the copper lug onto the wire, then heat shrunk it, and used electrical tape over that. ![]() ![]() |
