I had a dry and wet compression test done on my engine to determine whether or not the block is worthy to keep with my head build. My mech called me and read the specs for the dry test: 210 / 225 across the board. The wet test was different: 210/220, 210/250, 210/240, and 225/250. He said rebuild specs are 280/300 so I am not too bad he said. He also mentioned something like only replacing what the head 'needs' and not everything because it might not be good to run the new fully rebuilt head's compression on the original block which has 177,000 on it. I do have a SRI, header, hi-flow cat, and exhaust muffler on the car now. Any comments or concerns????
