aim the shield to where most of the engine heat would come from, so the open side of the shield faces where colder air would be

Since there is a thread about CAI/ram intakes here i thought ill post up my latest mod.

While im waiting for my manifold parts i thought ide make a proper cai insted of feeding the airbox with one of those flexi tubes from the bumper.

before you ask about how i go seeing at night im using HID's (which i assume most people with projectors are) which are terribly bright, im pretty sure they melt the bitumen a little tongue.gif, i rarely use high beam, but even so with just one its still epic bright.

result well it feeds directly into an airbox that i made, and there is a difference for example in how much vacuum i have crusing on the highway, not heaps but a bit, and is a little more responsive.

People dont know how to use a search button clearly.

prehaps make one a sticky.

Nar she is full time there.

one of the reasons i put the mesh in the back there (and its on an angle leaning forward at the top) is so if water hits the mesh it'll run down it and just drip off essentially, the other is obviously to stop the filter eating bugs and birds and rocks etc tongue.gif Plus the small ammount of water that may get through there will get chopped up pretty well by the turbo and become tempory water injection tongue.gif

as for the led's they are actually the white type, just look blue in the shot compared to the green tree and dark background etc. They are just the normal LED parker lights.
