Ever since I bought my car, I had a ISB problem. Since I am swapping out my motor for a 98 spec 5S getting ready for a FTE setup, I want to change the input shaft bearing. I have looked at the service manual and it isnt too descriptive of how it comes out. Has anyone done this before? Thanks

You've got to take the whole transmission apart.
IIRC you need to remove all the gears/bearings on the input shaft, I wouldn't recommend doing this yourself. You should replace both bearings on the shaft while you're at it. When you press off a bearing it's very easy to damage it. -------------------- ![]() |
