ok this has been pissing me off. going down the freeway at like 3k or so the car will intermittently hesitate every once in awhile while cruising steady no load on it at all... but if you put a stead lil load on it just to speed up a bit the miss goes away...it it worse going down a slight incline if you hold your foot steady on the gas. I had a tubular manifold before and that sucker but out way to much heat and it eventually cracked so i removed it. do you think the manifold could have jacked my spark plug wires. i ohm tested then a few months back and they passed within spec. cap and rotor both looked fine as well..checked them yesterday. plugs have 10k on em and are tan brown which is good. wtf can it be..any ideas. also when i give er a lil gas in neutral an bring it up to like 4k when i let off the throttle the rpms drop to like 500 and stumbles on itself but then the iac kicks in and brings it back up to 1k. oh ya and it smells a lil rich when idling. i have a an obdII reader with live data and data logging so i was seeing what was up and looked at the o2 sensors and my bank1 sensor 2 is reading 0 volts. could this be my problem. also my bank 1 sensor 1 shows its running lean at idle 20.31% with 1.225 volts. also once in awhile when you gun and and let off the gas it backfires a lil bit but its only every so often. i know backfires are usually related with a timing issue or running lean i believe.
