Plans? Making sure that I don't injure the celica in whatever snow/ice we may get this winter. frown.gif

Mods? Nothing for now. Just saving up $$$ for this spring. Koni's, Teins, or JIC's? Wheels possibly, and if that guy is still selling/supplying those FRT and RR Splitters I might look into that. *crosses fingers*

Oh actually, I need a new battery, minor tune-up, and winterization check-up. hehe biggrin.gif Guess I will be spending $$$ on the Celi.

Well so far, i plan on doing as much as i can before winter then keeping it garaged as much as possible and thus my work begins...

1.) Save money for a complete repaint of stock silver and much needed bodywork, maybe a molded hood scoop, along with prep work like removing all the rust spots before the roads get too salty...then JDM tails...etc.

2.) Engine tune up before winter, followed by making a CAI, then exhaust and a S-AFC II...etc.

3.) 10 inch sub and power caps installed (so my lights dont dim so much at high volumes tongue.gif ) and some odds and ends like shift knob, and all blue interior lighting.

4.) Save up for rims and springs for the...spring

And uhh...guess thats it for now. I should have my hands full for a while. biggrin.gif

Lets see - fix the 4K RPM problem, install Stage 3 clutch, install new front end, 2 new fenders, re-glass the wing, prepare entire car for painting, SSII or III tranny if found, Konig Verdict rims, some other ideas i have that are hush hush until they're done, new struts, DVD/LCD install, redo entire interior color. Thats all off the top of my head.

Oh yeah the rear cross drilled gotta be put on. And projectors if i can afford them w/TRD HID kit and a BOV

Since I am in College, and don't trust anybody down here. My car is staying in the Garage all winter. I'm just gonna unhook the battery and put my car cover over it and then leave it until spring.

Alright. I'm gonna sound like a total noob here but does the Celica not run well in winter or what? Why is it that almost every other person here is stowing their Celica away for the winter? As a 6th Gen. Celica owner, I'm just a little curious here...

car handles great in snow as long as you have good winter tires. the reason people store their cars is because snow means salt on the road which = rust. a lot cheaper to buy a beater instead of messing up your hooked up ride. wink.gif

I'm putting on the steelies with yoko snows and exercising the parking brake! biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

I'm over 205 km and I need a paint job in the spring, so what the F, salt or no salt, it handles awsome in the snow. 3 months after I bought the car, I took it the back way from ottawa to Mt. tremblant in a snow storm after midnight... biggrin.gif what a blast!!! almost every corner all 4 tires were sliding and I never let off the gas once I started the corner.

um. if it runs, i'll drive it and the corolla both. otherwise, corolla all the time..just like now..but lord knows the corolla will be doing plenty of snow drifts wink.gif. (as long as it snows).

That's what I hate about TN. I miss driving in Kansas in the winter.

Last winter I was delivering pizza when it snowed(the 1 time all winter). I made so much money because people were amazed at how easy I made snow driving look. I guess learning to drive in the winter in KC paid off.

The only thing you have to watch out for in TN is the other drivers. Every time it snows there are literaly(sp?) dozens of SUVs and trucks in ditches.
