I had recently installed some foam rubber on the back of the license plate and put rubber washers on the plate bolts to stop rattling in the trunk area...
well that helped, but the garnish still rattled like no other. I took the lights off, got to the garnish and put foam rubber pieces on almost each of clips of the garnish and put a few strips on the piece itself. I thought this would work but it didn't fix the problem.

how have you guys coped with your garnish plate rattling?
mine is immensely loud.

-remove the rear-most hatch interior panel
-remove tail lights (3 10mm bolts holding it)
-remove 1 bolt on each end of the license plate bezel then pull outwards to unsnap the clips.
