hate local dealers, never have anything on stock, plus they rape me with their prices. 1sttoyotaparts are pretty good I admit except shipping is the tricky part, I never get a price amount when I check out but only after I get the part and it is charged. But toyotaworld is good as well because Jeff can help you out on the phone but then again there toyodiy.com to do that for you but it is still nice to actually talk to someone if you have any concerns. Overall, they are pretty good except when they do not have something in stock, it takes a while.

where to go for aftermarket parts?

Most of the aftermarket parts are on ebay but for the most part they are 3sge/3sgte replacement parts for your 5sfe. Not a whole much selection unless you swap for a 3sge/gte motor. Honestly, if you are looking for a specific part, list it here first and we can help you out, telling you were aftermarket parts are for everything will get messy.

if your parts guy dont want to match a price, go to the service manager.
they'd rather sell it to you cheaper, than have you go somewhere else.
the best thing to do, its to get the prices from partznet or wherever, print that page out, and go over to your local guy.

best way i used to do it is match the price at the part counter and then use a 20% coupon at the cash register counter.

Man.. confirmed they price match it!!! anyway i ordered my stuff from 1sttoyota and they were great. i forgot to order 2 more parts and we'll see how much the dealer would knock it down.

Does anyone elses dealer give it to you for the SHIPPED price, rather than just the price for the part? Kinda annoying ....paying for a companies sunk costs pisses me off lol.
