I want to get a CAI now. I already have a nice Injen SRI with a new Injen Air Filter so I am not worried about the filter, I just need a CAI setup. What do you guys think of this? Any other suggestions? I know that there are more expensive tubes and all but I also realize that these cheaper ones are good too.

The reason I want a CAI is strictly because I want that growl sound on acceleration that the SRI just doesn't seem to produce enough.

a CAI style intake will actually get you less intake sounds and the same acceleration.

compared to the stock intake? of course. but when moving from a short to long intake you'll get slightly less intake noise from the longer one. the piping itself cancels a little of the noise but mostly you're moving the filter from which the noise will emanate further from your ears.

Agreed. Bought mine from him and it screams. Everyone keeps asking me if my car's supercharged.

I only say this because my neighbor has an acura integra (I think it's a 94 or 96) with a CAI and it growls a hell of a lot harder than my car does with a SRI.
