So I've done these fuel filters before. Put my new filter in, and the bottom fitting leaks. I put the little brass washer in there, and it's leaking like crazy. If I tighten the fitting any more it will round the bolt off (more than it already was from the previous owner).
This is the first time I've used the washer, and the first time I've had a problem. I may just take it all apart and take that washer out and try again. *UPDATE* just pulled the little washer out, re-assembled and still leaks exactly the same. If I tighten it any more the bolt will just round off. Bad filter? No way in hell am I replacing this entire fuel line just for this piece of ****.
