Hi
I was just wondering if the projector headlights are a direct swap on a 1996 GT4? The volts going to the lights is still the same and the light bulb plugs for the normal headlights (which are attached to the car) will fit in the projector headlights? So pretty much the only thing that gets changed are the light units? and the bulbs and wireing is all the same? Thanks for the help |

Low highs are H1. Rest are the same. I think.

For the low beams you'll have to cut off the connector on the end that would normally plug into the 9006 bulbs, so you can solder an H1 connector onto it instead. You'll need H1 bulbs for the low beams. For the accent bulb in the headlight, you can connect the wiring to your side marker if you want those to work.

Whats an accent bulb? do the projector headlights have more bulbs for when your indicating??
So pretty much if you get the projector headlight you have to make sure they come with the light bulb housings and apart from that a person that has only wired in head-units could do the install? Also will there need to be any fuses changed? This post has been edited by beno: Aug 13, 2009 - 10:01 PM |
