I just got a new front motor mount off a gt for my 3sgte swap and while installing it I noticed about a 1/4 inch gap between the crossmember and the bottom of the mount. I was still able to get the 2 bolts started that connect the mount and when fully tightened the mount sits flush with the crossmemeber. The question I have is if this is ok or if I need to add a spacer or something. Let me know. THANKS!
Also, do I need to put nuts at the end of the bolts that are connecting the mount to the frame? Doesn't seem like there is any room for them and I didn't notice a nut in the gt motor mount diagram, but I thought I'd double check -------------------- ![]() |
