So if a light pole falls on top of the windshield bending part of the pillars(i think its called?) on driver side and the top of the car before the sunroof, you think the repair will be hard? Or what are the options?

here is the picture:

I know fixing the door and fender will be easy but this pic is the problem. With the pillar(? where the door meets the windshield?) bent down in that condition, i'm thinking that banging it back up will not be good enough to make the windshield fit snugly. What you guys think?

And the top of the car, i dont know if it will be an easy fix or not, i was thinking of banging that part back up too and filling whatever i can't get out with bondo... not good enough?

in general. i want to know if its even worth it to fix her?

i think that your best bet would be to look for the same car in a junkyard nd just cut that part out and weld it to yours cause beating it would really mess you up just hiting it for ever... thats what i would do... so i would fix it then who knows sell it and see how much you can get out of it.

who's lightpole fell on it? a city light pole? you could try to pursue them to pay for the damages.

the short of this is that to fix it right you'll need a pillar and roof or partial roof. thats going to be some serious structural cutting and welding that has to be done by a very very good shop so it all aligns correctly, then painted to match. to do it right you're easily looking at what the car is worth if not more. my honest advice would be to see if you can get the car totalled by the cities insurance and get paid for the cars value and roll that towards another car.

come join me on the darkside and buy a 7th gen mwahahaha. then we can have a 7th gen meet out at starved rock!
