Hey everyone,

First post so forgive me if I have messed anything up. I am looking into an SS II at the moment and should have it in 2 weeks. Thing is I was wonering if a few more horses could be squeezed out without too much work or money.

Essentially I want to be able to rip a type r integra to pieces (my friend owns one and hes intolerable in that thing)

If big money is needed is there a way to sequence a build so that I can continue to upgrade over time??
I ask ye because Ive been reading the forums for a while now and the details and facts that are given are incredible.

Cheap, fast, reliable.
Pick 2.
An SSII is what, 3sge equipped or 5sfe?
Either way, short of a turbo setup, or swap, your not gonna find alot of performance parts that will give you big power cheap.
A good turbo setup will run you 2-4000$ depending on the parts you use.
A decent swap will cost you 4-5000+$ depending on what parts you use, and how much matinence you decide to do.
This assuming you can do the work yourself.
Labor will run the bill up a bunch if not.

With the SS-II it has the 3S-GE engine which is 177BHP between 1994-1997 and 200BHP from 1998+

The later model with 200BHP will **** on an ITR.

Just do whatever cheap mods he has and they will be close.

Some suggestions...

- get an oil change

- get a cam belt +accessory belts change

- cold air intake piping with a high flow cone or mushroom filter mounted behind the fog light

- battery to boot relocation (better weight distribution and engine bay room for cold air piping)

- oil catch can to stop your inlet manifold from sludging...

- the factory 2" press bent exhaust is a joke, get 2.25 inches of stainless steel from the headers back to a lightweight cannon muffler

- ngk ix plugs

- mod your acis
