So I have been trying to find out where to get these swatch books, and the closest dealer is like 100 miles away, so I was doing some searching on the web tonight and came across this page, I wanted to share it with all of you who are trying to change your lights or clock color also!!

There's another one. There was one for a roscoe set (I have two swatchbooks from roscoe) that was also a free sample. It takes much longer to get them but it's completely free.

When I ordered mine, it took several months to get. I got them when the deal was found by a ton of photographers, so there was a huge influx of sample requests. It might take quite a while but you'll get them eventually. I actually forgot about them by the time I got them.

Did you pop out the amber plastic lens in the clock? It makes the clock more reflective in the sunlight, so there's trouble seeing through the glare in the day at times, but at night it's incredibly bright.

No I didn't take the amber lens out, I can't see it at all during the day, but at night it looks great!

Try popping the lens out and seeing how it looks. I remember trying to put the lens back in and it was impossible to see during the day. I can see mine fine during the day now unless the sun is directly behind me and shining glare onto the clock, because the gel is much more reflective than the plastic that was there before. It looks amazing at night smile.gif

I have 2 clocks and I took the lens out of one of them and I didn't like the way it had that sunken in look during the day, so I am torn between not being able to see it during the day (which is not a problem since I have the time on my CD player visible at all times) or having the sunken in look and it being really bright at night time. I am going to try a couple of different swatches to try and get the color brighter with the amber lens I think...
Yo solidxsnake, did you use the rosco book, if so do you remember what color (or number) you used?

I used "Light Red," #26. I've been considering switching to a darker one but haven't gotten around to doing so.
