I believe usual power loss is about 18 percent to wheels so a 125hp at crank would equal to 22.5hp power loss.

i dont care what my hp is on my car, at least i know my car looks better than most cars out there.....
dont get me wrong i would like to have at leas 180hp but right now i dont need em,,
though a swap is coming pretty soon....... wink.gif

As long as it takes you to A and B its fine, the 5sfe was not meant to be a performance engine but its a good DD motor plus if you want more power you know where to go its not like we can't swap anything else in...

My car was dynotuned to 261hp to the wheels by xat racing with 3rd gen swap and engine management system. Trust me mate... having driven 20K miles with that engine... I do crave for more horse power. At first I spent 5 months snapping my neck but then over time I got used to horse power and even though my car is very competitive I feel like I could easily see myself in a car with twice that horse power. But then of course if and when I do get there I will crave for more. he he he.. just kind of funny how life turns out. I used to own a russian car back in my home country that pushed a whole 40 horse power. Then came an open with twice that much and then of course celicas and now the swap.. I want more.. gimme more rawr.
